I'll be the lone dissenter. I think the monster being cut in half would be even cooler with blood gushing, so Sam could use his mad inking skills. I understand, it's being cauterized as it slices, but I like my monster slicing to be gory.
Very nicely done. It'll be interesting to see how the story evolves in the new book. The first was pretty great so if the new one improves upon it's ideas, it will be an amazing thing to see.
